EXCELLENT Based on 15 reviews Posted on Airbnb AliraVerified I had a relaxing stay at the rocky creek tiny home! It was very peaceful, quiet and private. The bed was comfortable and the heater worked a treat on the cold nights. The tiny has everything you need for comfortability and relaxation. I enjoyed watching all the wildlife around, I saw kangaroos, possums and beautiful bird life. Michelle and De Wet were kind and accommodating hosts! I look forward to returning again some day. Thanks again! :)Posted on Airbnb ScottVerified We loved our stay at Tiny Aways Rocky Creek escape! We will definitely be looking forward to coming back.Posted on Airbnb AllainaVerified Great little cabin for some down time! Happily come back againPosted on Airbnb MichelleVerified Great stay, beautiful spot, thank youPosted on Airbnb HamishVerified Great little getaway. Very peaceful and private. Host communicated very well. I would highly recommend.Posted on Airbnb DanielVerified Everything about the place was great. The problem was with Tiny Away or whoever was running the show. They emailed us most of what we needed to know, including a phone number for queries etc., which was a Singapore number that never got answered. We wanted to know the check-in details, but we couldn't even contact the property owner. Finally after three days (on the afternoon before check-in)trying we got an email with all the details, including the property owners phone number. Once we contacted Michelle everything went well. Well done Michelle, very happy with the stay. Lift your game Tiny Away, we'd have liked a bit more than twelve hours notice of some of the more important details.Posted on Airbnb TimaniVerified Love tiny awayPosted on Airbnb GabrielleVerified The tiny house was in a lovely, peaceful location. Just what I wantedPosted on Airbnb ShannonVerified My partner and I enjoyed a beautiful night here, so peaceful and quiet, very clean space and amazing fire pit. We will definitely be back.Posted on Airbnb WilliVerified schöne natur belassene gegend habe sogar ein schnabeltier gesehen wir habe dort schöne Erinnerungen gemacht

Founded in 2024 by Michelle and De Wet in Glenwood, Queensland, Wildhorse Homestead is a chemical-free sanctuary born from the founders’ personal journeys through burnout and disconnection.
Combining De Wet’s extensive background in elite sports, military aviation, and holistic recovery with their shared commitment to long-term health, the pair transformed their lives to focus on restoration.
Situated at the foothills of Mount Bauple, the homestead bridges the gap between land and clinic, offering small-batch spices and apocathary remedies from the land, a plant nursery, and wellness studio designed to help others regulate their nervous systems.

There are some weeks on a homestead when the jobs seem endless. Then there are weeks when every task feels connected by a single purpose.

There are milestones you plan for. And then there are the ones you almost miss.
This week, while editing our latest Wildhorse Homestead POV, we realised we’d quietly reached twenty-six weeks of sharing our journey. Six months of opening the gate and inviting you into our little corner of the world.
It felt beautifully fitting that this milestone arrived alongside the Winter Solstice. The shortest day of the year. A turning point that reminds us even in the stillness of winter, the light has already begun returning.
In many ways, that’s exactly what building a homestead feels like. The changes rarely happen overnight. Instead, they arrive through hundreds of ordinary moments that slowly become something extraordinary when you look back.

A painful fall, an unexpected weekend of rest, and a powerful reminder that healing happens through connection, support, and slowing down. This week on the homestead, Michelle reflects on recovery, community, resilience, and the lessons nature continues to teach us.

Discover how to make homemade vegan fermented cheddar cheese that’s sliceable, grateable, and meltable using simple whole ingredients. This recipe uses fermented cashew milk, agar agar, tapioca, nutritional yeast, and miso to create a soft gouda-style cheese that can also be freezer-aged for a firmer, mature cheddar texture. Learn the step-by-step method, health benefits of key ingredients, and cost comparison versus store-bought vegan or dairy cheese. Perfect for plant-based diets, zero-waste kitchens, and anyone craving rich, cheesy flavour without preservatives.

This fermented whipped vegan butter is a reminder that nourishing food doesn’t need to be complicated — just thoughtful. By fermenting, blending, and storing with care, we create foods that support health, reduce waste, and reconnect us with traditional food wisdom.

I can very highly recommend Wildhorse Homestead, very welcoming lovely people and helped me so much more than I could have expected. Physically and mentally. As well as the natural products to go with it and the knowledge behind them.
I had a great experience, learnt a lot of things about my body, have learnt some stretches to help ease my muscle tightness in between visits as well. Very friendly and professional, highly recommend and will be returning.
I received my packet of Lemon Myrtle Tea and love it! It is so refreshing and aromatic to sip on in the morning. Definitely recommend this tea from Wildhorse Homestead to anyone who enjoys a good cup of herbal lemon tea
De Wet was knowledgeable and helpful sharing specific stretches to help alleviate tight hip areas. Massage was relaxing and therapeutic, just what I needed! I'll definitely be returning for another
Website is easy to navigate with high quality products to choose from. I enjoyed having the bundles to choose from.
Hired a trailer from Wildhorse Homestead. The whole process was super easy. Online payment was straightforward, and had the trailer hooked up to the car two minutes later. The equipment was reliable and in good condition, and the people were friendly and helpful.
